This project takes as its starting point the arrest of three Greenpeace activists in 2003 who blockaded the floating dock trying to prevent an international grains trader sneaking 57,000 tonnes of GM canola seed to its Newcastle plant. Placed directly opposite the grain silo’s on the harbour, the container sits on a bed of canola seed; its interior fitted out as theatre for contemplation with video footage revealing the harbours complicity in the movement of these Trojans and interrogates the role of the harbour within broader national environmental concerns.
